What is Dirumed, in one sentence?
An electronic medical record for private practices and small clinics: patients, consultations, prescriptions, and billing in one app, designed for Venezuela.
What happens if the internet or power goes out?
Your data lives safely in the cloud, not on your computer: an outage can’t touch it. When the connection returns, everything is exactly where you left it. Meanwhile you can sign in from your phone on mobile data — usually what survives an outage.
I have years of records on paper (or in Excel). Do I lose them?
No. We help you migrate: active records are loaded into Dirumed with our support, and paper documents can be scanned and attached to each patient’s chart. We build a migration plan with you in the first week.
Is it complicated? I’m not good with technology.
Dirumed is designed to be used during the consultation, with your attention on the patient: few taps, large type, no maze-like menus. Training for you and your team is included, plus WhatsApp support whenever you need it.
Who can see my patients’ records?
Only the team members you grant permission to, each according to their role: the assistant can’t read clinical notes, the visiting doctor can’t see your patients. Every access is logged in an audit trail you can review. We never sell or share data.
Is the data mine or yours?
Yours and your patients’. If you decide to leave, we hand over all records in a standard, readable format. No data hostage-taking.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Dirumed runs in any computer’s browser and has native iPhone and Android apps. Same account, same information, in sync.
Can I print prescriptions with my letterhead?
Yes. The prescription is generated from the consultation with your letterhead, license number, and signature, ready to print or send digitally.
Does it work for my specialty?
Dirumed is multi-specialty: it ships consultation templates for general medicine, pediatrics, OB-GYN, cardiology, dermatology, orthopedics, and more — and templates adjust to how you work.
Can I invoice legally in Venezuela with Dirumed?
Dirumed generates invoices in bolívares and dollars with Venezuelan VAT configured and keeps track of your income. We review the specific fiscal invoicing requirements of your practice with you during the demo.
I work at two clinics. Do I need two accounts?
No. One account can belong to several clinics with a different role in each — you can be the admin of your practice and a visiting doctor elsewhere. Each clinic’s patients stay separate.
What do my patients see in the portal?
Only their own: their prescriptions, instructions, and the documents you choose to share. They sign in with their own account, from their phone. You keep full control of the medical record.
How much does it cost and how do I pay?
There’s a forever-free plan (up to 30 active patients) and paid plans from $8 a month based on your clinic’s active patients — unlimited doctors and assistants free on all of them. You pay in USD: card, Zelle, bank transfer, or USDT. And if you stop paying, you never lose your data: your account becomes read-only with free export.
What support do I get if something fails on a clinic day?
WhatsApp support during clinic hours, with priority for issues that block patient care. Initial training for you and your team is also included.
